Born on October 2, 1992, Álisson Ramsés Becker is a Brazilian professional football player who plays goalkeeping for both the Brazil national team and Premier League team Liverpool. He is most commonly known as Alisson Becker or just Alisson. He is considered by many to be among the greatest goalkeepers of all time and among the finest in the world because of his positioning, reflexes, and ability to stop shots.

Before making his senior debut in 2013, Alisson advanced through the youth system after joining Internacional’s academy in 2002. Alisson played for Internacional’s senior team for four years, winning the Campeonato Gaúcho championship each year. In 2017, he won Serie A Goalkeeper of the Year after joining Roma in July 2016.

When Liverpool paid £66.8 million (€72.5 million) for Alisson in July 2018, he became the most expensive goalkeeper ever. Alisson has won the FIFA Club World Cup, the UEFA Champions League, the Premier League, the FA Cup, and the EFL Cup when he was at Liverpool. He received the inaugural Yashin Trophy in 2019 and was named The Best FIFA Goalkeeper. Alisson has been included in the FIFA FIFPRO Men’s World 11 on two occasions. He was a part of the Liverpool FC players that won the Premier League title in the 2024/2025 season.

Alisson made his senior international debut in 2015 after playing for Brazil at several youth levels. He won the 2019 competition and was voted the country’s best goalie. He also played for the country in the Copa América in 2016, 2019, 2021, and 2024, as well as the FIFA World Cup in 2018 and 2022.

Religion

Alisson Becker is a devoted follower of the Pentecostal faith. According to Wikipedia, he has openly talked about his beliefs and even performed baptisms in his pool, including that of Fred’s wife and teammate Roberto Firmino. He feels that people should be able to freely express their faith.

Born on September 29, 2000, Giorgi Mamardashvili (Order of Honor) is a professional football player from Georgia who plays goalkeeping for both the Georgia national team and Premier League Club Liverpool.

A large portion of Mamardashvili’s childhood was spent at Dinamo Tbilisi. Prior to moving to Valencia, he spent three seasons on loan at other Erovnuli Liga teams after agreeing to a professional contract with this club. As the first Georgian goalkeeper in the top division of Spain, he has rapidly made a name for himself as a first-choice stopper.

Mamardashvili won Georgia’s Footballer of the Year award in 2024 and Goalkeeper of the Year in 2020.

3. Freddie Woodman

English professional football player Frederick John Woodman was born on March 4, 1997, and now plays goalkeeping for Liverpool in the Premier League.

Woodman began his career with Crystal Palace before joining Newcastle United’s academy in 2013. After making his Newcastle debut on January 6, 2018, he has since gone on loan to Aberdeen, Hartlepool United, Crawley Town, and Kilmarnock.

In addition to winning the 2014 UEFA European Under-17 Championship and the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup with his nation, Woodman has played for England up to the U21 level. In the latter tournament, he was given the Golden Glove award for best goalie.

English professional football player Joseph Dave Gomez was born on May 23, 1997. He plays defense for both the England national team and Premier League Club Liverpool.

Gomez joined Liverpool in June 2015 after starting his career at Charlton Athletic, where he made his debut appearance in the first team at the age of 17. Gomez battled injuries after establishing himself as a first-team regular, although he did make an appearance in the 2019 UEFA Champions League final, which saw Liverpool win the tournament. He participated in the 2019 FIFA Club World Cup final, which saw Liverpool win the tournament for the first time in the club’s existence.

He was a part of the Liverpool FC players that won the Premier League in 2019–20, which was Liverpool’s first league championship in three decades. Gomez played every minute of England’s victory in the 2014 UEFA European Under-17 Championship and has represented the country at every level. In November 2017, he made his England senior team debut.
